These stunning handmade planters are meticulously crafted in traditional wood-fired kilns situated in the picturesque region of southern Vietnam, where artisans have honed their skills over centuries, passing down their knowledge through generations.
Despite the looming threat of urban expansion that endangers both the kiln sites and the natural clay sources, we are fortunate to still have access to these unique planters at a reasonable price, at least for the time being. This access allows us to continue supporting these traditional crafts and the communities that rely on them.
The pots and planters produced in these time-honored kilns are not only visually appealing but also exceptionally strong and durable, designed to withstand the test of time. The glazes applied to these pieces have been carefully sandblasted to achieve a beautiful matte finish, enhancing their rustic charm and making them perfect for any garden or home decor.
The finish is quite robust and can be cleaned with brush or high-pressure hose.
Plants such as bamboo, strelitzia, and other vigorous rooted plants will eventually outgrow and damage the planter if not repotted as they become too large. Failure to do so may void warranty.
